What to Pack in your Elopement Emergency Kit

When you’re prepping for your adventurous elopement day, consider packing an elopement emergency kit—also known as an"Oh Shit Kit.” Your elopement emergency kit is especially important if you are getting married in a remote location where you can’t just run to a store and buy something if you forget it!

While this certainly isn’t an exhaustive list (and different outdoor activities require different things) these basic essentials are helpful to have on hand and get you out of a pinch.

Here are my top items for your elopement emergency kit:

Bobby Pins

Basic First Aid kit

Safety pins

Sewing kit (needle and thread included)

Benadryl

Pain meds for headaches

Fashion tape

Lint roller

Snickers bar or hard candies (quick sugar if you start feeling a little woozy from heat/nerves!)

Super glue

Kleenex

Toilet paper roll

Razor

Deodorant

Small pair of scissors

Travel size hairspray

Lip balm

Not only do I want you prepared with the items you’ll need, you also will need a bag to carry everything inside. Here is a link to my favorite bag (that you can use beyond your elopement day).

Black Hole Cube- Small

So, there you have it! My list of items for an elopement emergency kit to keep you going on your off-grid adventures!
