HOWDY!
my name is anna claire,
and IβM SO HAPPY YOUβRE HERE.
About Me
MY NAME IS ANNA CLAIRE, BUT MY FRIENDS CALL ME AC.
My name is Anna Claire, and Iβm an adventure elopement and wedding photographer with a deep love of West Texas.
For a land so wide and open, Big Bend really has a way of bringing people closer together. After traveling to the Big Bend area for years, both for personal trips and while working as a guide for my university outdoor program at Texas Tech, I decided to offer adventure photo sessions to couples looking for something a little different for their wedding experienceβcouples whose priority was connection. After going full-time with my WEDDING & ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY BUSINESS, more and more couples expressed interest in eloping in Big Bend or doing adventure sessions.
In order to better serve those couples, I wanted to create a unique resource with all of my information about packages, pricing, and inspiration related solely elopements, weddings, and adventures in BIG BEND and the SURROUNDING AREA.
& SO, βELOPE BIG BENDβ WAS BORN.
HEARTFELT IMAGERY β GROUNDED IN CONNECTION
On your wedding day, Iβm in your corner. Less like a vendor, and more like a friend. Iβll document the candid moments of connection, the golden light spilling onto the lawn, the tear in your sisterβs eye as she toasts to your love and the sparkling laughter of friends sharing stories of your college days. The moments youβll want to hang onto long after the last song is played.
Whether you are having an intimate West Texas wedding, or a 200-person venue wedding, the main character of the day is your love β Iβll photograph it all with intention and care.

ABOUT ANNA CLAIRE.
I love a good journal, especially when paired with a blustery fall morning and a hot cup of coffee. Iβve tried and failed to eat vegetarian like 10 times. Iβve spent many many nights sleeping under the stars with people I love, and I hold those memories close.
I get to do life with my best friend, Danny. We met in high school, and chose to co-human for the rest of our existence. My relationship with him is what informs so much of my work; it teaches me about the importance of quiet moments and pillow talk and hand-holds in a tent with morning rays beaming down. Itβs taught me that every relationship has good and bad and hard and easy and this complexity and vulnerability is what makes us human. Seeing photos of us doing life together makes me feel all the things.
Thatβs what I want for you.
THINGS I LOVE.
Backpacking, caving, cycling, and being in the water are my favorite outdoor activities. While my first language is English, I also have a basic understanding of ASL and Spanish!
I travel often and have a passion for human rightβs issuesβwhich has taken me around the world; from cloud forest mountains of Costa Rica, to rural villages in the Dominican Republic, as well as the city streets of Denmark & The Netherlands. These trips are where I learned how to drop my pre-conceived notions at the door and become a good story-listener.
PLACES I LOVE.
All of that said, for me, living adventurously is not some kind of fad. Itβs a lifestyleβand adventurous moments arenβt just big hikes and gorgeous views; They exist in the spaces where we step out of our comfort zones.
My excitement is in the intimate moments that ground us and make us feel present.
No matter the geographic location, thatβs the space that gets me stoked.
